Blood Center Docks Another Successful Cruise

14th Annual Cruise Hosted By Title Sponsors             Lehigh Valley Grand Prix and the Brown Daub Dealerships

 

Miller-Keystone Blood Center, in conjunction with Lehigh Valley Grand Prix and the Brown Daub Dealerships, hosted its 14th annual “Cruise Aboard the LifeLine” signature fundraiser on Friday evening, May 9, at the Lehigh Valley Grand Prix Indoor Kart Racing Arena, 649 S. 10th Street, Allentown.

More than 400 passengers once again boarded for an evening of great food, fun and entertainment as they sailed to the Florida Keys!  As always, passengers were treated to specially prepared Cruise delicacies, courtesy of our area’s finest restaurants and caterers, as well as action-packed casino games, live entertainment, and exciting silent and live auctions. 

Honorary captain of the 2008 Cruise was Paul Huck, Chief Financial Officer, Air Products & Chemicals, Inc. Serving on this year’s Cruise Committee were: Paula Buchvalt (Air Products), Carol Carr (Air Products), Marie Clemens (HCSC), Mary Diehl (The Morning Call), Sandy Geschardt (Linde), Linda Hamilton (Crayola LLC), Carla Hickey (Girl Scouts of Eastern PA), Corine Kraemer (Lafayette Ambassador Bank), Lisa Liddington (Liddington Marketing Communications), Carol Machain (Guardian Life Insurance Company), Bob McGovern (Wachovia Bank NA), Shirley Miller (Air Products), Linda Nabb (Dream Events), Nanci Oakley (Brown Daub Dealership), Joe Reybitz (Select Sales) and Kathy Stover (HCSC), and MKBC staff David Farber, Karen Martin, Naomi Pratt and Sandra Thomas.

Featured entertainment for the evening includes the band Lime Time, and DJ Joe Reybitz.
