Miller-Keystone Blood Center Celebrates National Blood Donor Month

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA–  Miller-Keystone Blood Center is proud to celebrate and honor volunteer blood donors during the entire month of January, National Blood Donor Month. Miller-Keystone Blood Center will be giving back to our donors throughout the month; Donor Appreciation Give-a-ways will be held every Monday at our fixed sites and mobiles, T-shirts will be given to all donors registered at our fixed site locations every Friday and all donors who register to donate at any fixed site location or on any blood drive between January 1 and January 31 will be entered in a raffle to win a $500 Visa gift card. Miller-Keystone To Open Satellite At Hazle Township Commons

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA–  Miller-Keystone Blood Center is happy to announce the opening of a new satellite location serving the Hazleton area. Beginning December 21, 2012, we will be located at the Hazle Township Commons Building,103 West 27th Street, Hazle Township PA, every Friday from 7:30 a.m. to 6:00 p.m. to collect whole blood and automated blood and platelet donations. Miller-Keystone To Close Hazleton Donor Center

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA–  Officials at Miller-Keystone Blood Center today announced the decision to close its Hazleton blood donor center located at the Beltway Commons Building, 426 Airport Road, 4 Beltway Commons, Hazle Township. The last day for blood donations at the Beltway Commons location will be Friday, December 14. However, Miller-Keystone’s mobile blood drive operations within the Hazleton area will continue without interruption. Click here to read full release.


Miller-Keystone Blood Center Announces New Monroe County Satellite Location

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA–  Miller-Keystone Blood Center has announced the opening of a new satellite location at Western Pocono Community Library, 200 Pilgrim Way, Brodheadsville, PA. Beginning November 14, blood donations will be accepted from 3:00pm-7:30pm on the second, third and fourth Wednesday of each month. Click here to read full release.

Miller-Keystone Blood Center Will Be Service Provider For Hunterdon Medical Center

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA–  Effective September 1, Miller-Keystone Blood Center has been named as blood service provider to Hunterdon Medical Center (Flemington, NJ). Blood Center Accepting Registrations for "My Blood Your Blood" Educational Presentations

Program Designed to Inspire Young People to Donate Blood

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA– MKBC has opened registration of its "My Blood Your Blood" educational program to schools for the upcoming 2012-13 calendar year. The "My Blood Your Blood" program is designed to educate and inspire young people to donate blood. MKBC's Bethlehem Donor Center Opening for Sunday Platelet Collections

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA–  Beginning August 5, Miller-Keystone Blood Center will be hosting Sunday platelet donations at the Bethlehem donor center. The Bethlehem center, located at 1465 Valley Center Parkway, will be opening its doors to donors from 6:30 a.m. to 1:00 p.m. A light breakfast will be available and T-Shirts will be given out to donors every Sunday during the month of August. New Blood Center Technology Helps Donors Maximize Their Donation

LEHIGH VALLEY, PA–  In December 2011, visitors to Miller-Keystone Blood Center's Bethlehem and Reading donor centers will be greeted at registration by the Blood Center's new "assistant," a new interactive, automated kiosk located in the Center's registration/waiting area. By answering a few simple questions based on one's height, weight and blood type, the kiosk matches each donor to their ideal donation type - red cell donation, platelet donation, plasma donation, or a combination of these products.

MKBC Announces Bi-Monthly Platelet Collections at Hazleton Donor Center

HAZLETON, PA –  Miller-Keystone Blood Center has announced that effective January 2011, it will host bi-monthly platelet collections at its Hazleton Donor Center, located in The Beltway Commons, 426 Airport Road, Hazle Township.  Platelet collections will take place on the 1st and 3rd Friday of each month, from 7:30am-6:00pm.
